About the project

Teklub's website combines an automotive catalog with product selection, purchasing information, certificate lookup, service programs, and account-related areas. A distinctive part of the design is the route for looking up sellers and their certificates.

The challenge

The experience has to support more than discovering a suitable product. Visitors may also need to find a seller, look up a certificate, or locate service-related information. Those are different tasks, each requiring a clear place in the website's structure.

Certificate lookup also needs to explain what to enter, how to interpret the results, and what to do when the search does not return a match.

The design response

Give verification a dedicated route. The navigation distinguishes the catalog, service programs, purchasing information, and certificates. The certificate page has a prominent search field and instructions describing lookup by certificate number or store name.

Structure the results around seller types. The results design separates retail chains from individual entries and provides category tabs for stores and other seller channels. Names, locations, and grouping help the user inspect the returned information.

Define the states around the search. The file includes empty input, active input, number-entry and name-entry variants, results, no-results states, and an enlarged certificate view. These states make the lookup interaction a substantial part of the design rather than a single search field on an otherwise static page.

Carry the hierarchy onto mobile. The paired layouts preserve the search task, explanatory content, and grouped results in a narrower vertical format. Black surfaces, white text, borders, and red accents establish a direct visual hierarchy across both versions.

The design

The design gives product discovery and seller lookup distinct places within a broader automotive website. Its certificate flow provides concrete evidence of work on search, categorization, responsive presentation, and interaction states.

Design takeaway

Trust-related tasks need a usable interface of their own: a clear query, understandable results, and a considered response when nothing is found.
